If you find yourself wandering through the quaint streets of Tamba-Sasayama in Hyogo, be sure to stop by Daijyoubuya, a charming café that marries delectable cuisine with a heartwarming mission. Nestled at 51 Gofukumachi, this hidden gem is not just a culinary stop but a haven where you can indulge in authentic Bangladeshi flavors while supporting noble causes.

The star of the menu is undoubtedly the Bangladeshi curry, expertly crafted by the passionate owners, who also happen to be dedicated philanthropists. The curry is known for its distinctive blend of spices—just the right amount of heat to create a memorable, addictive experience. Customers rave about its rich flavor, where each bite brings comfort akin to a warm hug from an affectionate grandparent. Whether you choose to pair it with their specialty coffee or one of their unique dessert offerings like homemade warabi mochi, every visit promises to awaken your taste buds.

The café's ambiance exudes coziness, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Imagine sipping fragrant coffee or tea while listening to the comforting crackle of the irori (traditional Japanese sunken hearth), lending a unique warmth to your experience. As one patron beautifully articulated, visiting Daijyoubuya feels like coming home to beloved family, surrounded by good company, laughter, and heartfelt conversations.

But the café's offerings extend beyond just food and drink. Each purchase supports the owners' remarkable initiative to build schools in Bangladesh, making every meal you enjoy contribute a little more to the education of children in need. This sense of purpose resonates throughout the establishment, leaving a lasting impact on visitors like no other café can.

Don’t miss out on unique events, such as the curry buffet days, where you can sample a wide variety of flavorful curries, or keep an eye out for offerings like the special gibier curry that occasionally graces the menu. As noted by locals, Daijyoubuya is a place where culinary adventure meets community spirit—an experience that you should not overlook while exploring Tamba-Sasayama.

In summary, Daijyoubuya invites you not only to dine but to engage with a cause that is changing lives. Come for the scrumptious food, stay for the warm atmosphere, and leave knowing you’ve been part of something truly meaningful.

A little restaurant at the back of a clothing shop. The owners are very sweet and serve a delicious Bangladeshi curry. The service is great and profit goes to helping begladeshi children. 100% recommend this place

We randomly came into this Shop to look at the clothes and had the best Lunchtime Break you could Imagine. Keiko-chan and her husband are such sweet Souls. It really felt like coming home to your favourite Obaachan and Ojiichan. Warm, welcoming and heartfelt. We had very tasty coffee, spicy bangladeshi curry, good Talks and many laughs. When we left, our stomachs and hearts were full. Please visit this place, the Profit goes into building schools in Bangladesh for kids in need.
